What We Board
At Zany Zoo's Tropical Pet Resort, we board Cats, Birds, Reptiles, and Pocket Pets/Small Animals. Due to zoning restrictions, we cannot board dogs. This is our current price structure although we anticipate changes being made to this by 2008.
Pricing Guide
Cats
$6.00 per
night for one cat in a condo
$3.00 per night for each additional cat in the same condo
Note: Cats must have current vaccination records
Birds
When Customer
Provides Cage
$3.00 per
night for small bird (finch to parakeet)
$1.00 for each additional bird in same cage
$5.00 per night for smaller parrots and conures
$7.00 per night for large parrots
$10.00 per night for macaws and large cockatoos
Each additional bird in the same cage is 1/2 price.
When Zany Zoo
Provides Cage
An additional
charge of $2.00 per night will be added to the above pricing. We
are sorry, but at this time are unable to provide large cages for macaws
and cockatoos.
Note: We ask that birds have their wings clipped (except Finches)
Reptiles
When Customer
Provides Habitat
Reptiles
Eating Salad and Insects
$5.00 per
night for one reptile. Each additional reptile in the same habitat
is $3.00.
Reptiles Eating
Insects Only
$4.00 per
night for one reptile. Each additional reptile in the same habitat
is $2.00.
Reptiles Eating
Mice, Rats, or Other Feeders
$3.00 per
night for one reptile. Each additional reptile in the same habitat
is $1.00. Customer is responsible for cost of feeders if reptile
needs to be fed while boarding.
When Zany Zoo
Provides Habitat For Any Reptile
Additional charge of $3.00 per night will be added to the above pricing.
Small Animals
(Hamsters, Gerbils,
Mice, etc.)
When Customer
Provides Cage
$3.00 per
night for up to 2 small rodent pets in one cage. Each additional
small animal in that cage is $1.00.
When Zany Zoo
Provides Cage
Additional
charge of $2.00 per night will be added to the above pricing.
Pocket Pet/Exotics
(Chinchillas,
Degus, Hedgehogs, Sugar Gliders)
When Customer
Provides Cage
$5.00 per
night for one pet per cage. Each additional pet in the same cage
is $1.00 per night.
When Zany Zoo
Provides Cage
Additional
Charge of $3.00 per night will be charged
Ferrets
When Customer
Provides Cage
$6.00 per night for one ferret. Each additional ferret in the same
cage is $2.00 per night.

Additional $3.00 per night will be charged.
Bunnies and Guinea
Pigs
When Customer
Provides Cage
$4.00 per night for one animal in a cage. Each additional animal
in the same cage is $2.00 per night.
When Zany Zoo
